Sponsorship Kickstand is Idaho and the northwest’s premier entrepreneurial support organization. With chapters throughout Idaho, Kickstand supports and connects hundreds of entrepreneurs and innovators with leaders from education, government, services and industry. Kickstand is a non-profit Idaho corporation, and is dependent on sponsorship contributions to support its important events and programs. Monthly Kickstand Meetings - $500/meeting Kickstand hosts monthly member meetings with introductions, speakers of interest, educational presentations and time for serious networking. Drinks and munchies are also served. Ida-Vation - the Northwest’s Premier Entrepreneurial EventKickstand produces an annual entrepreneurial educational event called Ida-vation (formerly Kickstart) each spring. This event includes leading keynote speakers, multiple workshop tracks, and catered meals. Speakers and workshops are geared directly at stimulating and energizing entrepreneurialism and innovation. The event is a high-energy, positive experience for attendees and participants, and has included nationally recognized speakers such as Guy Kawasaki, Bo Peabody, Rich Sloan, and Ben McConnell. This year’s event - the 2008 Idaho Entrepreneurs and Innovators Summit - will be held May 28 and 29 in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce. Kickstand will sponsor and provide content for the second day, IdaVation ©. Special sponsorships of individual Ida-vation events, including the VIP reception, breakfast or luncheon events, meals, and individual workshops are also available. Startup Speed Dating Events - $250/event, $500/yearKickstand hosts multiple startup speed dating events each year. These invitation only events are intended to help entrepreneurs hone their investment presentations. The venue pits 10 companies with 10 investors in a rotation scheme, with strict time limits. The event is educational, but most of the top placing companies go on to successfully secure capital through angel or venture investment. The three top placing companies are invited to present their pitches to the Kickstand membership at the next regular meeting. ADVERTISING
Kickstand membership includes hundreds of regional entrepreneurs and innovators in addition to leaders from education, government, services, and industry. Advertising to the Kickstand membership is a cost effective way to make a direct and favorable impression to both successful and aspiring entrepreneurs throughout Idaho. Ida-vation Program Brochure The Ida-vation brochure is 8.5x11” format with a full color cover and B&W laser printed interior. The Ida-vation program brochure is sponsored in part by the Idaho Business Review, and a circulation of roughly 7000 units included in the Idaho Business Review is typically included in addition to roughly 350 units distributed at the event. Drink tickets are distributed at each meeting, and are re-used each month. Platinum sponsors have first right of refusal for drink ticket logo placement. Only a limited number of logos can be supported.
